Redpoint Climbing Centre was opened in 2008, after a long search for the perfect building to house our vision of a spectacular indoor climbing venue with a friendly atmosphere, in the heart of Birmingham.
The wall design offers a unique three-dimensional climbing experience, using an abundance of shapes, angles and our notorious stalactites to test yourself on!
Redpoint is run by a staff of keen climbers with a vast array of experience, so we can accommodate most requests.
Our bouldering is spread across 4 areas including Redbloc, the Bunker, Babybloc and a Training room complete with a range of finger boards and a campus board.
Alongside the climbing & bouldering, our vegetarian café is a great place to relax and refuel. (Currently just drinks and snacks)
Climbing Routes
Redpoint has more than 75 climbing panels with over 300 climbing routes. Our in-house route setters set routes every week to suit a wide range of climbing abilities from beginners to experts.
The 3d nature of our climbing wall means there are many spectacular climbing routes across bridges through arches and up our notorious stalactite!
We even feature one of the few indoor 'Yorkshire VS cracks' in the country, to test your jamming skills.
Our routes include a mix of Top Rope and Lead areas.
Bouldering
The problems in our bouldering room are just as interesting as our routes. We have crammed in all the angles and shapes Redpoint regulars have come to expect.
With steep roofs, pebbly slabs, overhanging prows, corners and grooves galore.
Over 200 bouldering problems have been organised into graded circuits to provide something for everyone.
We also have a great endurance training board and a training room fitted with a campus board and the ever popular Beastmaker fingerboards.
