Rock Monkey Clubs

The Rock Monkey climbing clubs at Redpoint are very popular with all ages of kids from 5 to 17  and are renowned for the quality of instruction and small group sizes.

With the help of our instructors your child’s movement, balance, co-ordination, strength and confidence will improve and if continued will create independent climbers who will continue enjoying climbing into adulthood.

Many of our climbers age 7+ follow the Redpoint Climbing Scheme (RCS). This scheme provides our young climbers with the opportunity to follow a structured and logged progression, motivating new climbers to develop their skills so that they get the most out of their climbing and have their achievements recognised.

Rock Monkeys (1.5 hrs)

Lets face it kids love to climb! Our Rock Monkeys climbing club is a fun way for climbers aged 5 to 16 to learn or improve on their climbing skills.

Pre Requirements
Age 5-17
Age 7 for the Redpoint Climbing Scheme (RCS)

What's involved

• A great way to exercise that’s exciting and fun
• Sessions supervised by qualified climbing instructors
• Lots of our Monkeys follow the Redpoint Climbing Scheme (RCS)
• Great for confidence, concentration and determination
• Development of balance and coordination

More Mature Monkeys (1.5 hrs)

For older kids who are still learning about climbing and can't make our weekend sessions or would like a session just aimed at their age range.

We cover everything that we would do in a normal Rock Monkey session.

Pre Requirements
Age 13 -17

School Holiday Rock Monkeys (1.5hrs)

A fun 1.5 hr session for our young climbers during the school holidays.

Pre Requirements
Age 5-17
Age 7 for the Redpoint Climbing Scheme (RCS)

Alternatively if you have 4 or more kids that are interested in climbing you can book a private session with an instructor at any time there is availability.
