In our opinion there isn't a better place to have your first experience climbing outdoors than on one of the fantastic Gritstone Edges of the Peak District!
Previous venues have include The Roaches, Windgather, Stanage, Burbage, Birchens Edge, Harborough Rocks, Trevor quarries (Llangollen)
What is involved:
- An introduction to outdoor climbing by a fully qualified instructor
- All equipment included
- Plenty of climbing as your instructor sets all the safety ropes up for you
- Normally about a 6hr climbing day
- It is advantageous if you know how to top rope belay but not essential (ask us about belay courses at Redpoint)
