OK, folks.. step away from the cake and dust off your climbing boots!
The government announcement that gyms can open from 25th July means that we can finally start preparing to re-open. We are excited to get everyone climbing again and we are aiming to re-open Redpoint on Monday 10th August.
Many of the government guidelines will apply a blanket approach that would cover all leisure facilities such as gyms so exactly how indoor climbing will fit into these is still to be figured out (given that they probably don’t even realise that climbing walls exist!)
The safety of our staff and customers has always been our main priority and there’s still a lot preparation involved to ensure that we can make climbing at Redpoint as safe as possible while preserving the friendly atmosphere that everyone enjoys.
We’d really like you to get involved in helping to shape the new normality of indoor climbing so we are going to conduct our own survey of Redpoint customers to help us to find mutually acceptable ways to move forward.
If you would like to take part in this simply email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Providing that you are a current member of the centre we’ll send you a questionnaire in the coming weeks which you can complete and return.
Be sure to let us know whether you are a regular climber, a Rock Monkey parent, or both!
All answers will be treated confidentially and will be subject to our GDPR policy.
Please do get involved with this. We love having you as part of the Redpoint community and really want everyone to be able to get the most out of their climbing when we do re-open.
Till then, stay safe and we’ll see you soon.
Phil, Paula, Mirf and the Redpoint Team x
